Laboratory for the Study of Multimorbidity of Rheumatic Diseases

The laboratory was created in October 2023.

MAIN SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS OF THE LABORATORY

1. Study of clinical and epidemiological characteristics, risk factors for musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis in the population of Western Siberia

2. Study of the interaction between osteoarthritis and multimorbidity

3. Conducting original research, preparing systematic reviews and meta-analyses on the effectiveness and safety of non-drug and drug therapy for osteoarthritis

4. Assessing the perspectives and priorities of patients with osteoarthritis with various comorbidities using qualitative research methods

All laboratory employees are also practicing rheumatologists. Since 2003, laboratory staff have actively participated in more than 35 international phase II-III studies of new drugs in the field of rheumatology (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis) and clinical immunology (bronchial asthma).
